Let it snow

Big surprise when we woke up this morning it was snowing like crazy usually this would a been great , but not right now . Christian has to leave really early in the morning he'll fly back to Omaha , college is awaiting him again . Was so nice to have him home for Thanksgiving and he''ll be back for christmas and meet Faith for the first time . So hopfully the roads will clear up by tomorrow morning and the Cornell's can travel to Nebraska and China .

Last minute shopping

Just got back from the mall going there today was not such a great idea way to many people . The good thing about it was we found some nice gift sets to take with us to China and I bought Faith a nice hat at Children 's Place . We started packing last night Faith's cloth are all packed we just have to make one last run to Target and get some cold medicine for Faith and us to take along .

Countdown

We're flying to China a week from today and I haven't packed a single thing so far . Really should start packing and stay away from my laptop . Still can't believe we'll hold Luo Hong Meng ( which means little red dream ) in our arms in eleven days . Her foster parents call her Hong Meng or Meng Meng we decided to call her Faith ( full name Faith Elisabeth Hong Meng ) .

Our first Post

This is our first post!  Since Seeing Faith on the CCAI web site on July third, it has been a long and emotional road to today. We received our LOA, finished all our training, and last thursday sent off for our visa's. We are waiting to get them this week, and TA right after that. We are hoping for a consulate date in Dec in the week before or the week after Christmas!  Every step was a milestone and was supposed to help relieve the stress, and after one was reached, the next became just as stressful.
